JVC built the KD-R601 CD receiver to handle multiple music sources with ease. The front panel USB input lets you charge and control your iPod or iPhone so you can browse your songs and playlists using the KD-R601's controls. If you prefer, you can also activate the iPod's own controls and your song info will still show up on the receiver's display.
