The New Becker Traffic Assit covers navigation in 27 European countries (Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, UK, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Vatican City).
Destination entry and selection is done via touch screen, alphabet and selection list. The New Becker also covers POI’s including airports, hospitals, service stations, railway stations, hotels, restaurants, sports stadiums, etc. The traffic assist also features new postal code, house number, junction entry. Entry of intermediate destinations. Route selection: shortest/fastest route, with/without motorways, with/without toll roads, with/without ferries, Route calculation according to selected profile: normal car, fast car, slow car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, pedestrian. Information such as arrival time, travel time remaining and distance to destination (also displays arrival time, travel time remaining, and distance to intermediate destination when intermediate destination is programmed). Speed limit display (legal speed limits are shown on the display and an acoustic signal warns driver in case of excess speed above a pre-programmed threshold level). Voice navigation in a choice of 14 languages (CZ, D, DK, E, F, GB, I, NL, P, PL, S, TR, US, Vlaams). Destination memory for 100 fixed destinations and last 30 destinations. Display includes map/bird view/zoom mode etc.
