Installing the CD Player of your new Vauxhall VDO P7 441 CED CD Changer Package is straight forward as it comes with Vauxhall compatible connections that enable a seamless push-fit connection onto your existing radio wiring harness. Using this radio cassette player will NOT invalidate your cars warranty.


Installation Tips:
To remove your factory fitted Vauxhall radio you will need DIN radio keys as found in the Radio Removal Tools section of this website. In order to insert the radio keys into the 4 holes found at either side of your radio fascia, you may need to remove 4 small Allen studs (where fitted) using a (2mm or 5/64") Allen Key. I believe the Allen studs are simply a security measure.

When you insert the removal keys listen for them clicking into position, then push them outwards slightly away form the radio and ease the radio out. You will now see that the radio sleeve or (cage) stays in position with the wiring and aerial connectors remaining fixed in the sleeve.

Installation is now completed by pushing your Vauxhall VDO CD 441 XED into the radio sleeve, lining up the connections until the radio clicks into positon. Now tune in your radio stations ensuring a strong signal. This will depend on the radio connectors lining up and the radio being pushed all of the way in to make a solid connection.

CD Changer:
CD Changer installation is generally far easier than you would expect. Vauxhall VDO CD Changers can mount in the boot, glove box or even under a seat and offer multi-angle mounting for installation flexibility. (Compare this CD changers dimensions with your available space)

Connection is via the included 5M robust data lead by push-fit connection to the rear of your VDO radio, and this lead is simply tucked under your interior plastic trim out of site.

The CD changer is mounted using the included brackets and screws, or for easy installation FREE Adhesive Velcro is available if required (request this via email after ordering). Full installation instructions are supplied with each changer. Modern suspension technology allows skip free play-back from your home burned CD-Rs as well as your original CDs.
