Car Audio Plus - Customer Support - Faulty Products & Returns


Please take a minute to read and agree with our Faulty Products & Returns Policy before following the Recommended Returns Procedure Below. This will prevent any inconvenience for you and for us.

Faulty Products

If you believe your product is faulty, read the 3 options below and make a note of when you ordered the product in relation to today's date. Is it within the 30 Day or 12 Month warranty? Then email us (recommended) or call us on 01942 893613 and detail the fault and any other related info that may help us to establish the fault and decide on the necessary action to correct this.

We can then contact the relevant Technical department at the product manufacturers if we need more info. Then we will contact you to advise you what to do next. If we need you to return the faulty product to us please follow the Recommended Returns Procedure below.

    Product Warranties


  • Damaged Products upon receipt:
    If you receive damaged products please notify us immediately and we will arrange to collect them and send you out a replacement.

    The following actions are standard policies of each and every car audio product manufacturer:

  • Faulty within 30 Days:
    If a product develops a fault within 30 Days of the purchase date, you will be issued a brand new replacement. Read through the Fault Diagnostic Guide and if the fault persists Email us immediately, and detail the fault and quote your name and date of purchase or call 01942 893613. Please do this before returning the goods as many problems can be resolved without returning your product.

  • Faulty within 1-Year: (or 2-Year where applicable)
    If you feel your product has become faulty within the 1 or 2-year warranty period you your product will be repaired or replaced. Read through the Fault Diagnostic Guide and if the fault persists Email us immediately, and detail the fault and quote your name and date of purchase or call 01942 893613. Please do this before returning the goods as many problems can be resolved without returning your product.


Important Action!
 
Do NOT Void your Car Audio Plus Warranty:
Do NOT open your product casing, tamper, or modify products supplied by us in an attempt to repair or to make compatible with your current car audio set-up in anyway as your warranty will become void, Period! The manufacturers always meticulously check the product casing and fixing screws for evidence of tampering.

Arrange, Collect & Return:

If any Car Audio Plus product develops a fault within the warranty period we will arrange and collect the faulty goods from you and ensure it is repaired or replaced and then return it to you at no cost, eliminating any inconvenience. Who else offers this kind of Service?



Recommended Returns Procedure


If, after fault analysis we decide you need to return the goods to us. Please package the goods securely enclosing a copy of your invoice and a note giving a full description of the fault. Please package the defective item in its original packaging with all warranty cards, licenses, manuals, leads, remotes and accessories.

If you personally return the goods you must use an insured, recorded delivery to protect you and us.


Request a Collection:

Contact us to request a collection giving us a date and a full address from where you want the goods to be collected from. This must be between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Please Note: Someone will have to be present when your goods are collected for return, as the courier will require a signature upon collection. Failure to comply will result in a need for a new collection appointment to be made. If this happens you will be asked to absorb the £11.95 charge.

If the goods are found not to be faulty once the manufacturer has tested them you will be asked to pay a £7.95 return carriage fee before we can re-send the goods to you.

Failure to follow the above instructions will result in delays...

Return the goods to the following address unless we advise you otherwise. If we need the goods returning direct to our suppliers or manufacturer we will inform you of the address/postcode to write on the outside of the parcel.
