CD/Radio
- Single Compact Disc player and radio combined that is installed in the
dash replacing your existing radio. Replacing your standard radio cassette
with a CD Tuner is the cheapest and easiest way of having a compact disc
player in your vehicle. It is also one of the best ways of improving the
sound quality without having to upgrade the factory fitted speakers and
they offer greater power output and better radio reception than original
factory fitted radios. As with all radio's on the CAP website, single
CD players come with security removable fascia's. Mini Disc/Radio also
available.
CD & MD Changer Packages - Compact Disc unit that holds multiple
CD's commonly located in the boot or under a seat. They can hold (6, 8,
10 or 12) discs depending on the make and model. The Changer unit is connected
to and operated by your radio via a bus lead, that is hidden under the
carpet. Can be bought individually (CD Changer) or together with a cassette,
CD radio, MD radio or MP3 radio as a package.
Factory Fit CD Changer - If your vehicle has a standard fit radio
with CD control (able
to operate a CD changer unit) this
is one of your options, the other being to
replace your
existing radio with a
CD/radio or cassette, CD or MD package. In simple terms a Factory Fit
CD Changer
is only compatible with the cars original radio. They are fast increasing
in popularity as more and more manufacturers fit radios with CD control.
So if you don't want to replace your original radio, you can simply add-on
the compatible CD changer unit and fit it in the boot. Checkout the Factory
