This Section lets you transfer information to and from your online store. You will use data that you have prepared offline, either from your accounting or contact management system or from a spreadsheet. A list of 20,000 products can be uploaded via a normal modem within 20 minutes.

Upload your entire Catalog: You can create your entire catalog offline in a spreadsheet and upload it (via a CSV file) to populate your site. Download the Catalog first to see the spreadsheet template and the available fields, then complete the spreadsheet with your existing data and upload it as a CSV file.

Stock and Prices: Evolve allows you to upload your stock and prices file as a CSV, when either stock levels or prices have changed. This does not disturb the rest of your catalog. It is particularly useful as a regular upload from your accounting package.

Customers: You will find all the fields in the customer accounts section available to upload and download. When uploading you have a choice of appending new customers, overwriting the existing customer list or updating customer details.

Contract Price Bands: Contract price bands are specific price lists agreed with specific customers. You can update your contract price lists individually as new customer price bands are added or by uploading all the different contract price bands in one go. You can download a CSV spreadsheet of any or all existing price bands.

Components and Attributes: You can associate choices with each product so that customers can choose from a selection of options before placing their order (For example colour of model, type of chassis). See Components and Attributes in Catalog area for more information.

Upload Images: You can bring in images from your own PC into the Evolve Media Library. Images in the Media Library can then be inserted on pages throughout your website. If you prefer you can FTP up all your images and bypass the Media Library.
