Fusion Electronics’ unofficial motto is more power, more quality & more Bass. This couldn’t be closer to the truth when discussing the new Fusion Encounter, Reactor or Power Plant car audio range. Fusion wanted to produce a range that could conquer the UK car audio scene and provide the value for money that everybody craves.
Engineered to be tough and powerful, the Fusion Reactor subwoofers stand out from the crowd. They provide tight bass due to the upgraded cone which is now made from high quality close-tolerance polypropylene and a specifically designed magnet which powers the copper wrapped voice coil perfectly, especially when installed in smaller enclosures.
Fusion Subwoofers produce an even sounding tight bass tone by managing the movement and excursion of the cone. The shorter excursion from its natural sitting position allows the cone to respond quicker than previous Subwoofers which in turn produces and even and high quality musical tone range complementing a variety of different music genres. However when Turned up Fusion Subwoofers don’t disappoint, The 200W RMS power handling capabilities provide some bang for your buck and will add the extra volume to your car audio system without compromising quality.
Fusion Subwoofers also cater for the Volume enthusiast. The Xmax from the power plant subwoofer hits around 21mm, which basically means that the Linear Excursion of the cone can move 21mm in one direction, Perfect air flow movement. Generally speaking the more air moved, the louder or more powerful the audio is heard.
In summary, Fusion’s attempts to improve the range of subwoofers has certainly worked. Although not world record beating products, they certainly do provide Quality, Power and Bass. What more can you ask for?
