When mounting the additional antenna please be aware that in order to receive a good strong signal, the antenna must have a clear view to the sky and satellites with no obstructions (through clear glass is fine).
Best locations are at the front windscreen or rear shelf/screen. If your vehicle has an athermic windscreen (see product description) it is recommended that you mount the additional antenna at the rear of the vehicle facing out of the screen with no obstructions in view of the sky.
For optimum results the antenna should be as close to the glass as possible.
As all vehicles are different it is advisable that you test the antenna in different locations to determine where signal is best received before making a permanent fixture.
After you have run the cables for the antenna, connect the lead to the side of the Inforad main unit.
N.B. it is the sole responsibility of the installer to ensure that all running cables be secure and does not interfere with any vehicle operations.

Alternatively look in your local Yellow Pages under the (Car Electrics & Car Audio) categories or visit Yell.com to find an installer in your area. If you would like to have the installation carried out at your home or workplace, look for a mobile installer in the advert or ask when you call them if they offer this service. You'll be surprised, that you find it's cheaper for someone to call to you and install it than to leave it at some fancy garage.
