Step 1: There are two methods of installing this bracket, firstly by removing all of the fixings and/or secondly, by inserting it between the trims, both as outlined.
Step 2: Pull the transmission tunnel trim to the left of the gear shift outwards.
Step 3: Remove the two screws securing the electric window control panel and slide this downwards.
Step 4: This will create a gap between the two external trims into which the bracket can be twisted ensuring that the plate spars to the left hand side. The pressures of the trims panels will hold the bracket in position as an interference fitment.
Step 5: Merely pull the left hand console trim next to the clock to the left sufficiently at the point where the upper and lower trim panels meet, and slide the bracket into the gap turning it through 90 degrees so that it rests on the console edge. Again it will stand firm as an interference fitment.
Recommended Professional Installation Service:
If like many of our customers, you would prefer an Installation Professional to help, we highly recommend InCar-Installer.com the UK's Leading In-Car Nationwide Installation Service company.
Alternatively look in your local Yellow Pages under the (Car Electrics & Car Audio) categories or visit Yell.com to find an installer in your area. If you would like to have the installation carried out at your home or workplace, look for a mobile installer in the advert or ask when you call them if they offer this service. You'll be surprised, that you find it's cheaper for someone to call to you and install it than to leave it at some fancy garage.
