Please Note:
Automatic cars have a electronic sense wire running through the gear shifter, exercise EXTREME caution when removing the gear shift panel. Excessive force will result in this wire becoming disconnected and will require soldering to effect reconnection.
1. Unclip the rear gear shift panel by pulling straight up at the same time releasing the two clips at the join with the forward section.
2. Pull the second section out.
3. Remove the two Philips screws at the base of the centre console.
4. Cars with manual heater controls require the switches to be removed and the screws beneath removed also.
5. Open the glove box and press the sides of the tray inwards to release the lid.
6. Remove the 10mm in the upper inner left corner of the radio assembly.
7. Locate the bracket with the two screws on the side of the radio assembly. 8mm socket required.
8. Refit the unit and all fixings and trim
Recommended Professional Installation Service:
If like many of our customers, you would prefer an Installation Professional to help, we highly recommend InCar-Installer.com the UK's Leading In-Car Nationwide Installation Service company.
Alternatively look in your local Yellow Pages under the (Car Electrics & Car Audio) categories or visit Yell.com to find an installer in your area. If you would like to have the installation carried out at your home or workplace, look for a mobile installer in the advert or ask when you call them if they offer this service. You'll be surprised, that you find it's cheaper for someone to call to you and install it than to leave it at some fancy garage.
