The KCA-235B allows connection of an external audio source (iPod, walkman, etc) to Versatile Link enabled Alpine head units. For use only where no changer is fitted.

Simply plug the KCA-235B into the head unit's CD changer connection, plug the other end of the lead into the external audio source, activate the Versatile Link input in the unit's menu and you can now output the audio source through your audio system speakers. This in turn allows the volume level of the external source to be controlled using the head unit volume control (or remote or steering controls where applicable).
